Hydrogen and
Fuel Cells:
What They Do and Don’t Do
Chances are that you have been hearing a lot lately about
hydrogen and fuel cells. All across the world,
environmentalists are getting the word out about this
alternative fuel source. Governments and institutions are
getting behind the development of hydrogen technology. This is
because of all the advantages in using hydrogen as a means of
powering vehicles over that of petroleum based fuels.
This isn’t something that is only happening in the future.
Cars are already being converted to run on hydrogen fuel.
Though gasoline is still the most used fuel source for vehicles
on the road, more and more people are seeing the benefits of
using hydrogen, too.
The Truth about Hydrogen and Fuel
Cells
First of all, let us bust a myth. Hydrogen fuel cells are
not going to explode and engulf you and your passengers in
flames. The horrible tragedy of the Hindenburg is not going to
happen to you. Science and technology has evolved to find safer
ways of using hydrogen. With the technology we have now, the
use of hydrogen as a fuel is much safer.
Your vehicle will run on HHO gas. HHO gas is much like water
vapor. You put the water in and the HHO generator does all the
work. It separates hydrogen molecules from the oxygen
molecules. The generator will get its power from the hydrogen.
Unlike petroleum based fuels, water can be found just about
everywhere and it doesn’t have to cost you anything!
It takes very little to maintain your fuel cells. All you need
to think about is whether or not there is enough water in the
reservoir. It lasts a long time, so this is not a daily
concern.
Hydrogen power puts oxygen into the air. Instead of harmful
carbons, you will be adding clean air to our atmosphere. This
may be the best part about using hydrogen as an alternative
fuel. You’ve heard much about green house gases and how we are
causing our earth drastic harm by polluting the atmosphere with
carbons. Every step we take to heal the earth and stop adding
carbon is a good one.
In the past few years, we have watched the price of gas soar
to heights like none we’ve ever seen. While we may not be ready
to convert to total hydrogen power yet, converting your car to
HHO fuel will save you money. Vehicles that are fully powered
by hydrogen are very few as they are not yet cost-effective,
but have no fear; they are coming!
If you are interested in this technology, you should know that
all you need is an HHO fuel kit installed into your vehicle to
start using it and the best part about that is: It is not
difficult to do! You can install your own HHO kit. Do it today
and tomorrow, you will be helping to not only improve your gas
mileage, but you will be helping to clean our air.
Right now, there is a lot of work being done involving the
source of hydrogen fuel. Unfortunately, most of the pure
hydrogen in the world is not useable. Scientists are searching
for ways to get viable hydrogen that will not be so expensive.
With the technology we have right now and the technology we
will have in the future, we are well on our way to helping our
planet heal.
The world needs to get on the bandwagon. Every country
should be working on using this technology. The environmental
plea is that everyone begins to use hydrogen fuel in their
vehicles. Yes, we know that it is not every country that can
feasibly do this. Some countries are far too economically
challenged to use this technology - for now. If we support the
studies and development of hydrogen fuel, eventually, this
technology will available for everyone.
